The television in my girlfriend’s front yard

So I had a girl over for the first time at my house this week. She was getting ready for bed and I turned on the TV to watch a television show that I will not name, to reduce the instances of people being angry that I posted here. I get on the show, and it automatically starts on the next available episode. So I watched the show without having seen any of the episodes before it. I just watched that one episode over and over again. I did not realize that it was the same episode until it had been on for hours on end. I only caught on when I recognized something that the character was saying. I recognized it because the same character was saying it almost every time the TV was turned on. I watched it 6 times in a row before I turned it off. I turned it off for that very reason. I did not want to go crazy.<br><br>I went to bed after a while, but I kept thinking about how odd that was. I walked to the kitchen to get a snack, and I watched it for almost an hour before I knew it again. I have watched this episode 7 or 8 times now, and it still kind of gives me chills.<br><br>Now, that’s not why I am here. The reason I am here is because the girl that was over my house at the time saw it, and she told me something that I did not know. I have known this girl for a long time. We went to the same high school, although I am two years older than her. It almost felt like she was hiding something from me, or us. She told me that she had seen the show before at her house. Now that’s fine. What creeped me out is that she said that the show is actually playing on her television in her front yard.<br><br>Her house was built on land that used to be a drive in movie theater. If you don’t know what a drive in movie theater is, then you’re not from around here. The land was purchased by the girl’s father, and then he built a house on it. It is a very strange sight from the road. The house is 90% windows, and there is no land between the road and the house. So you can see directly into every room of the house. It almost feels as if her father wants people to see inside. There is a large television in the front yard. It is embedded in cement, and it plays this show 24/7. Sometimes it will show different shows, but most of the time it is the same show.<br><br>I am not sure what to make of this, she almost seemed like she was ashamed of it. I don’t know how to approach this, and I don’t know what to do about it. But it is definitely on my mind, and I think that it will be for a while.
