I'm really sick of people have no idea how to use the website coming at me for things. The entire website is a message board. That's how this system is build. This have no thinking to it. It is just the same as every message board. The board have a name, but in this case it's your "chamber name." You can then have moderators which are essentially people who run the board who enforce rules for the board. These are people who are vetted to run the board, and if one makes a post, it is an official post. Posts are messages people post on the board. If you have a problem with the board, you contact the moderators. That's how message boards work. If you have problems with people on the board, you contact the moderators. This is not hard to understand.

We routinely get people writing DMs to mods, complaining about the moderators lurking in threads replying to comments. I assume these people are looking for mods who have their own account, which makes no sense. Moderators have no role in regulation conversation. Moderators are there to enforce rules for the subreddit. I assume these people don't understand that we have to run the sub first before we have any free thinking to do. Moderators can have conversations all they want. Their job is running the sub. You don't make a post on the board asking for mods when you can message them in first place. You have to go to the moderators when you have a problem with the board, whether it's the content, the people, or your account. I assume these people think they're on Facebook and Twitter, who have system in place to regulate content without any human intervention. These platforms hire moderators too, but they're not as hard to get as mods here. That's how it is. Moderators are have the power to run the sub. You have to go through them first.

Another thing I want to bring up is that every sub is run differently. FYI, every message board is run differently. Every single one of them has some sort of rules. I assume these people grew up on Facebook and Twitter, who have systems in place to regulate content that can run without any human intervention. It is not like we have millions of dollars like these platforms to have such systems in place. If you find a post that breaks rules, you message mods. If you find a comment that breaks rules, you message mods. If you have a problem with your account with the board, you message mods. This is not as complicated as people make it out to be.

Chambers is not the same as Facebook and Twitter. Facebook and Twitter are built differently. If you don't like that moderators are running the community, then you need to go back to Facebook and Twitter. I'm not to sympathetic towards people who don't know how to use the website. You don't go to Facebook and Twitter and complain to the mods. You go to the mods at the top of the chat, not the mods that's apart of the system. We're like the mods at the top of the chat. If you treat us like the mods in your chat, I assume you grew up on Facebook and Twitter and not message boards, and you're systemically stupid. I could have been thinking of other words. I'm not a native English speaker. If you can't use our system, go back to Facebook and Twitter. They have a different system than we do, and we're built differently. I assume you grew up on Facebook and Twitter and not message boards, and you're not a native English speaker.
