Just a question?

Hi. I'm a woman and I'm not trying to be rude here. I've been reading your comments and I'd like to ask a question. I'm not just trying to be a troll, I'm genuinely curious about this. I've been a victim of sexual assault and abuse, but I've always been told to "just leave the situation" and a lot of the comments I've seen in this sub just seem to follow that energy. Just leave the home and never see your family again. Just leave your relationship and never see the other person again. Just leave your house and do something to help yourself in this situation. I understand that it can sound like a simple solution, but it really isn't. It's not something you can just do and it sounds like it comes from a place of privilege that a lot of people don't have. I'm not trying to be insensitive or rude, I'm just genuinely interested in why you think this is such a simple solution and why you recommend it so much.

Edit: I have read a few comments mentioning that this is a parody sub. I'm just going to say that I don't think that a parody sub can be good for anyone. The energy in here is just toxic.
