If your consciousness could exist outside of your body, would you ever want to die?

Imagine that your consciousness was able to exist outside of your body, so even when your body died, your consciousness could still exist and function, and could be implanted in a new body.<br><br>In that case, even though your body could still feel pain, would you ever want to die? Or would you just keep on upgrading your body instead?
