AITA for canceling a surprise family vacation after learning my wife spent our entire savings on a timeshare?

My family and I (wife and 2 kids) are currently on vacation in Florida. My wife and I saved up for a few months to have a fun vacation with the kids. We are staying in a nice hotel and the kids are having a blast.

The hotel we're staying at has timeshares (ilton Grand Vacations) and they kept calling us nonstop (I guess the hotel gave them our information). They were offering us a "free dinner" and a "3 night stay at any Hilton Grand Vacation in the country" in exchange for attending a 90 minute presentation. So we decided to go for it.

I was skeptical, but my wife was gung-ho on it. We went to the presentation, watched their slideshow, and they showed us around their facilities. The sales guy was very good at his job. He offered us a membership (I can't exactly remember the details, but it was a timeshare-type membership).

My wife signed the papers and we paid the (hefty) initial fee with our credit card. Now we have a membership for life, which supposedly includes a week a year at any Hilton Grand Vacation in the country.

I was in shock, but she convinced me to not say anything while we were still in the sales office. I thought she was joking when she said she had signed the papers, but she wasn't. She's impulsive sometimes, so we talked it out during dinner (the "free dinner") and she convinced me to give it a try.

I'm done with this vacation. I'm extremely upset at her for doing this without consulting me and for spending all the money we saved to buy this timeshare.
