CMV: Murder should be legal for private investigators under certain circumstances

I believe that murder should be legal in very very certain circumstances for private investigators. For example, if a private investigator needs to infiltrate a criminal's private quarters to gather information before a sting, then bodily harm should be legal and accepted. Or if they need to kill someone to save someone else. I would like someone to change my view on that.

Edit: I’m a private investigator and have been one for 7 years. This is not a hypothetical. I have come close to the situation before.
