**TL;DR:** Emotionally unwell, damaged, and mentally ill men are increasingly successful and popular with modern women. Why? What does this mean for normal men and how do we respond?

Hi all,

I've been lurking and posting in the red pill community for a while and am struck by a trend I see in which men that are emotionally unwell, damaged, and mentally ill are increasingly successful with women and society at large.

Consider the following examples:

1. Nathan Fielder: The popular actor and comedian recently released a documentary that revealed how he was diagnosed with autism and ADHD, which has damaged his ability to date in a traditional way. Rather than view this as a problem, Fielder is using his neurodivergence as a strength and has received widespread critical acclaim. He is in high demand and is one of the hottest guys right now.

2. Sam Smith: The successful singer recently came out as non-binary, which damaged their dating life and mental health, as they described it. Despite this, Smith is now more popular than ever and is viewed as a hero by many, particularly women. They seem to be very much in demand and are viewed as a sex symbol.

3. Jack Grealish: The British footballer was recently involved in a sex scandal in which he cheated on his high school sweetheart with a woman that nobody likes. Despite this, Grealish is viewed as a hero and is widely respected by society, including women. He seems to be in high demand and is viewed as a sex symbol.

4. Adam Sandler: The popular comedian has built a career on portraying emotionally unwell, damaged, and mentally ill men. Despite this, Sandler is viewed as a legend and is widely respected by society, including women.

These examples illustrate a broader trend in which modern society values and rewards emotionally unwell, damaged, and mentally ill men while demonizing and ostracizing normal men. Why is this?

I believe that this trend is driven by the fact that modern women value emotional labor and are turned on by vulnerability. Women are attracted to men who are capable of expressing their emotions and being vulnerable. In contrast, normal men who are stoic and strong are viewed as uninteresting and unattractive.

What do you think this trend means for us and how do you think we should respond? Share your thoughts!

**PS:** Some of you guys have pointed out Sam Smith's body and how it appears to be more female than male. Other have pointed out Adam Sandler's lack of physical strength and vulnerability in his movies. I agree with you that their physical vulnerability and weakness appears to be a key factor in why Sam Smith is so attractive to women and why Adam Sandler appears to be so vulnerable in his movies.
