CMV: Our society should abandon the practice of knitting or crocheting gifts.

I find that 90% of the time when someone receives a hand-knit/crochet gift, they don't like it and just pretend to like it out of obligation to the giver. <br><br>Additionally, hand-knit/crochet items are generally not as useful as mass-produced items in terms of durability, warmth, etc. <br><br>People can always make clothes for themselves if they enjoy knitting/crocheting. There is no reason why we should continue to give these items as gifts.
