Women’s ‘productivity’ consists of taking 3 hour lunch breaks.

I (20m) work in the manufacturing industry. I work as aUTILITY technician and a maintenance intern. I’ve worked with many women in the field and they’re all unremarkable and find ways to slack off. <br><br>They’re lvl 0 technicians to put in perspective, meaning they just run a press and put together parts. <br><br>They take 3 hour lunch breaks. From 11am-2pm. Usually leave their task on auto mode and leave. Since it’s not real work It’s already set up for them that’s why it’s auto mode. <br><br>They’ll leave and go to Walmart, target, etc. <br><br>They’ll take 3-4 smoke breaks every opportunity they get. They’ll be out there for 15-20 minutes talking about their weekends or drama. <br><br>I have to do my work plus take care of a machine that is an easy fix. I have to go out there while I’m busy with other stuff and just reset it in 30 seconds. But the women will take a smoke break over this simple task. <br><br>They’ll be out there for 10-15 minutes while it’s just a 2 minute job to fix. <br><br>I’ve seen them talk in the break room for 3 hours straight. <br><br>Women in the field are not ‘productivity’. They just can’t do it.
