[USA-CA] If someone arrives at the hospital and is in liver failure from a drug overdose, do you give them NAC in an IV immediately?

I was told that NAC is the only drug and is 100% effective. Meaning that if someone is in liver failure from an overdose, if you give them NAC they will wake up with a 100% recovery.<br><br><br><br>Edit: Thank you for the comments. I was given wrong information.
