How do you handle a student who is carving into the desk with scissors?

I have a student, 12 years old, in my art club who is carving into the desk with a pair of scissors. I have asked him several times to stop and have called his parents. He still continues to do it. He is carving into the wood and making holes.<br><br>I am at my wits end on this. How would you handle it?
