I was “Citadeling” before I even knew what MGTOW was

I’m 28 that means I played a lot of games since a very small age and I always hated Multiplayer games, even as a kid. Fortnite, Minecraft and stuff like that are all multiplayer games and I never felt comfortable playing it. In germany you have a very popular MMORPG game named “Elvenar” and everyone is playing it. But I never got the point of it because I never wanted to be part of a group or guild or whatsoever.<br><br>Since I was a kid I always loved single player games and I’m still playing them. I’m currently playing through a lot of games on my PS5 like “The Last of Us Part II”, “Uncharted 4” and “Ghost of Tsushima”. I love that kind of games where you can play for yourself and not being forced in any kind of group or multiplayer. The only multiplayer game I’m currently playing is Destiny 2 and that’s just because it’s a solo game you can play in a group, but never being forced to be part of a group. I even tried playing World of Warcraft because I heard it would be a good game for solo players and I hated it. I got bored after 3 hours and never touched it again.<br><br>I see a lot of people on the streets and in my city and even in my office who are playing “Citadel” right now. Especially all the women are playing it because it’s a game where you can play all the roles you aren’t allowed to play or to be in real life. This is the biggest thing I hate about Multiplayer games. Even in my office are a lot of people are playing it and they think I’m a weird nerd because I’m not playing it. But I have to do a lot of work to be able to afford the life I’m living right now and I don’t have time to play “Citadel” or something like that. Even my brother is playing it and he thinks I’m a weird guy for not playing it.<br><br>And I thought… I’ve always that kind of nerdy guy who loves solo games. Who loves to be alone with his things and doesn’t need any kind of group or community or whatsoever. I think it’s a good thing to be able to be alone and I don’t know how to say it. I have no problem with people playing “Citadel” and stuff like that. I’m just glad I’m not one of that kind of nerdy guys.
