Barbershops are experiencing a labor shortage, when will American workers fill these jobs?

This is a very serious question. I regularly go to a barbershop and have been going there for over a decade. They have had an issue with the workers for about a year now. They have to close down their shops sometimes on days that they wouldn’t have otherwise closed down on. They have an issue recruiting people to come in. My barber told me that they get many applications but they just no show to the interviews. If they do come in, they are there for 2-3 weeks and then they quit and stop showing up. By the way, I live in New England.

I’m not saying that it is maga people’s fault that barbershops are struggling, but the comments bashing labor just makes me want to throw up. How about instead of bashing and making fun of labor, why not talk about what changes we can make in order to make more people fill the jobs. Can we fix education? Maybe pay more? Can we make sure that they have benefits such as health insurance? Maybe improve working conditions? How about we stop bashing labor? What are your thoughts?
