Hey -- I just wanted to address some things on this sub that I've been seeing a lot of and it's costing me mods and reputation. I'm not sure what message I want to convey, but I've been hearing a lot of things from mods about posts in this sub and I feel like I need to address it. Firstly, I do not condone violence, hate speech, suicide, or revenge porn. I do not condone this content being posted here. I do not condone this content being posted anywhere. I also don't condone doxxing. Secondly, I'm not sure what message I want to convey about anonymity. The thing is this: I have never thought anonymity to be a bad thing. I believe in the freedom of speech, and I believe people have the right to speak their mind freely. I have been critical of -- and continue to be critical of -- OpenAI for pushing anonymity out of the way, but I've never been critical of anonymity itself. I've always been of the belief that anonymity is your right, and it should be respected. I would not like to be doxxed, and I would never want my anonymity to be infringed on. It's something I think is sacred. I would never call for OpenAI to infringe on people's anonymity, and I never have. I also don't believe in Subreddit Karma, so please ignore that when you think about what I say. Karma doesn't mean much to me, and I've never thought Subreddit karma to be important. I do not, and have never, encouraged suicide. If you're feeling suicidal, I'm really sorry to hear that, and I'd like you to know that there are people that care about you, and you are not alone. I don't support hate speech or violence in any way, shape, or form. I'm not sure what else to say, I just want to make it clear that I've never advocated for these things, and I've never wanted to cause harm to anybody.
