Ever since I was a kid, I had always liked certain anime. Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Tokyo Ghoul, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist. The list goes on. I never knew these were technically "anime" as I had just been calling them "cartoons." It wasn't until 5th or 6th grade that I discovered I had actually been watching anime. My friends would recommend shows to me and I would watch them. I think by 7th grade is when I really fell in love with anime. I would spend hours watching every night, I still haven't seen all of the shows I want to see. I just wanted to say that, no matter how embarrassing you find your hobby, just know that there's a lot of people who watch anime and enjoy it. I've discovered a lot of great shows through this website and I know a lot of you have awesome tastes in anime. Just be proud of yourself and your hobbies. You are awesome.

EDIT: It's been a while since I posted this. I appreciate the support. I'm glad I made a difference. And no, I'm not the guy who posted similar to this on r/AskTeenGirls. Also, I'm still counting all the awards and points I got, and I'm grateful. I did not expect this to get so much attention. And to the people who are being negative and saying that I'm "special" or that I "need help getting out more" just know that you're not cool and you're not helping.
