How do people here feel about posts of things that are ‘not AI, but if we did it with AI’? e.g. AI directed humans

I definitely understand the criticism about them, even if I don’t fully understand how to see the difference between AI and AI directed humans, but my question is this:

How do people here feel about posts of things that are ‘not AI, but if we did it with AI’? e.g. AI directed humans.

The reason I am asking is because I think this sub would benefit from having a discussion about what should happen if AI ‘wins’, and I don’t think AI ‘winning’ is mutually exclusive with humans being happy, or even better off for it. I for example think that human life would be one of the most efficient ways for AI to provide happiness for itself, but I don’t think that’s a discussion this sub can afford to have.

So, should we focus on the topics of how to prevent AI takeover, and how to prevent AI from being used by people? Or should we also look into the things that AI would do and try to find the things in that plan that we wouldn’t want to happen?
