My principal has decided that a "no cell phone policy" will solve all our problems. What?!

It's a middle school. Cell phones are a huge problem. However, a strict "no cell phone policy" isn't the answer. <br><br>When I was a middle schooler, our principal (from 2010-2012) decided to implement a no backpack policy. We had to carry all our shit around for 8 hours. It was insane. I swear to god, this is what will happen with cell phones. My principal will find a way to make it the most torturous experience possible, and it will not benefit anyone or solve anything.
