Friend is curious about anime/manga and is open to it wow 10/10 worth it

My friend (who I have known since 2006) who was a huge anti anime person has decided he wants to “get into it” and has asked me for some recommendations, I am currently learning the best ways to give recommendations as they all seem to be based on weapons or powers etc and I would like to help him find something that he is into. I am so happy and excited to be able to introduce him to some of the stories and art that I have loved for the past 20 years or so.
