Gemini, the ChatGPT rival from Google, has been found to rely on AI-generated code from the online repository GitHub, raising questions about the ethics of the use of such technology.&#x200B;<br><br>Gemini is Google's response to ChatGPT. Gemini is based on the Lamda technology, the same one that was adopted a year ago in Bard, the first generative AI chatbot. Gemini, like the Bard, is supposed to be more advanced than its predecessor and thus more capable of responding to the popularity of the ChatGPT model.&#x200B;<br><br>Gemini was given AI-generated code from Microsoft's GitHub Copilot. GitHub Copilot is an AI-powered coding assistant developed by Microsoft-owned GitHub and OpenAI.&#x200B;<br><br>Gemini is not the first AI to use the AI-generated code from GitHub's Copilot service.&#x200B;<br><br>Gemini is based on Llama technology. It uses the same technology as Bard, Google's first AI chatbot.&#x200B;<br><br>Gemini is designed to be more advanced than Bard, with improved capabilities to respond to ChatGPT's popularity.
