Has anyone here ever experienced a moment where they witnessed two completely different things from the people around them?

This is something that happened to me back in high school. We were in the cafeteria eating lunch and there was this girl named Sarah who was sitting across from me. To me, Sarah was just eating her lunch with the rest of us, but apparently to everyone else at the table Sarah was singing. And I mean, she was allegedly belting it out like she was auditioning for American Idol or something. To me though, Sarah was dead silent. She was just chewing her food and occasionally chatting with the group.

It was very bizarre. I remember I was asking her friends what the hell was going on and if they were messing with me. But they were being completely serious. They were all saying things like “Sarah, you have such a beautiful voice. You sound amazing.” And Sarah was laughing and playing along with it like she really was singing. I was the only one in the group who saw her as silent.

It was honestly kind of awkward, but I also found it very fascinating. This was the first time I had experienced a moment like this where I saw something completely different from the people around me. I’ve had 2 other experiences like this since then though. Once was during a car accident and the other time was at a football game. Both of those experiences were also very bizarre and unexplainable. But the Sarah singing thing was the first time it ever happened to me, and it’s always stuck in my mind since then.
