I showed my friend this sub and now he's really creeped out

So my friend was here, and we're on my laptop doing mindless browsing, and I'm like "hey have you seen this sub, it's kinda cool" and show him this one post that says something like this: <br><br>"you don't know me, but i know you. you're an old soul, destined to wake up, and i'm a clone programmed to make sure that doesn't happen. Meet me at the old clock tower at midnight if you want to know the truth. -The Engineer"<br><br>So he thought it was funny, but especially the "you don't know me, but i know you" part creeped him out. And then i started talking about how Matrix-style simulations could be real and we even talked about how Elon Musk thinks we're living in a simulation. I was gonna show him some more of the posts here but he was too creeped out.
