Saw a guy go from dead to alive in a second a few weeks ago

A little over a month ago, me and some buddies were extremely high and drinking. We’re all standing on this bridge, playing and having fun. <br><br>We see this car, a little Toyota that was probably 30 years old and barely running. It was coming from a small ramp leading up to the bridge, probably 10-15 mph, but it suddenly showed signs of dying. It sputtered, slowed, and came to a stop. We’re only about 10 feet from the car itself, so we can see inside, and the first thought is to check if he was okay. I walked up to the car, and the first thing I noticed was that he had passed out at the wheel. I tried opening the door, but it was locked, but a buddy of mine had some gloves that helped break the window. <br><br>I looked inside and took his pulse, and holy shit, there was none. I’m balls deep into med school, and in all my years I’ve never come across someone just *dead* like that. He didn’t have any signs of struggle, or pain. The only logical reasoning was he had either a heart attack, or stroke, and that’s what caused him to pass out at the wheel. <br><br>We all waited for an ambulance, and when they finally showed up, they confirmed that he was in fact dead. <br><br>Apparently one of the EMTs, or maybe one of the cops, had left their phone on record during the whole thing. The next day, we’re all browsing and we see a video of what happened on a local news channel. It was from the cop car, where you could see the whole thing. <br><br>So imagine our surprise when we go back and watch that and the guy’s pulse showed up. Like, he was ALIVE for the whole time, and he didn’t show any signs of pain, he was just….drooling?<br><br>But what really, really, REALLY freaked me out was when they asked him what happened, he literally said that he doesn’t remember. <br><br>Then the interviewer awkwardly laughs, and says he must’ve had a panic attack. <br><br>But what the hell panic attack is that, man? I’ve never seen someone just die and come back to life, like that. <br><br>It was weird, but I’m not gonna lie I’m still shook up over it.
