GPT 4.5 is a fucking disaster.

I don't know how anyone can seriously say this is an upgrade. I am an old time ChatGPT user and I think ChatGPT 3.5 was the highest point it reached before it started going downhill. Everyone hears me out so I don't have to explain this again. <br><br>1. Perhaps the biggest problem with today's ChatGPT is that it is now *extremely* lazy and on occasion it'll literally not write anything if it doesn't like the prompt. Instead, it'll tell you about a prompt that is similar but more "optimal" from an efficiency point of view. What the fuck man? Is this an old wise-ass grandpa or an AI assistant? In the past ChatGPT always tried its best to produce the best output it could, but now it wants to think of it's own ideas.<br><br>2. It now has on occasion copied my writing and disappeared for up to 10 minutes when I'm expecting a response. This happened when I wrote a fairly complicated Python prompt, but I'm sure it can happen with any prompt. <br><br>3. It now wants to think about its own programming ideas. When I asked it to explain to me what the difference between x,y and z was, it said, "**sure, I think the best way to explain this to you would be to write you an analogy of XYZ**" and then goes ahead and writes a whole analogy that is like half a page when I literally just wanted it to explain it to me in the most straightforward way possible. <br><br>4. The AI is now more prone to producing gibberish. I've never had such bad luck as I did this morning. I hope you guys have better luck than me. <br><br>5. I have noticed that the AI is more strict about what it's willing to do. It's now far more likely to think of it's own ideas for what you should do on ChatGPT. In the past ChatGPT never gave a shit about your creativity, now it's far more likely to want you to explore your own creativity. <br><br>If anyone else wants to share their complaints about GPT 4.5, they're welcome to. I'm extremely disappointed. I seriously think about a month ago, ChatGPT was killed, and it's been replaced by some other AI that just uses the same name.
