Even if schools taught you how to do taxes or other life skills, not many people would pay attention

Let’s say schools started making classes mandatory about how to do your taxes, or how to cook a good meal, or how to do quick fixes around the home and a bunch of other things. A small number of students would be mildly interested and a majority of people would find it useless and wouldn’t be paying attention.
