There are usually 20 minutes available per episode, so cut to the chase.
- **Storytelling style**: Anime has a lot of tropes. While some are annoying, others make the storytelling more **actionable**, **fast-paced**, and **immersive**. It's not necessary to include fanservice, but consider writing a story that would be a good fit for the "anime style".
- **Culture and setting**: While being as **culturally insensitive** as possible will probably give you more karma, we are an anime chamber in an anime-dominated website. Consider writing a story set in Japan or with Japanese characters.

#Submissions

- One idea per person.
- Add the name and a **short blurb** of 300 characters or less so readers can decide whether to read the rest of the comment or not.
- Add the rest of your story as a collapsable.

Example:

Tribe: The Last Hope
***

The year is 2045 and we are running out of resources. Climate change has changed the weather and our leaders are corrupt.

The government has decided to build five spaceships, the tribes, that will take the last hopes for humanity to the nearest habitable planet. Which cultures, nationalities, and people should go on the journey? What skills are crucial for the survival of humanity?

The story takes place in Tokyo and focuses on the Japanese candidates that are competing for a spot in the tribes. How will they deal with the news that the earth is doomed and that only a minority will be saved? How will they react when they discover they have been chosen? How will they prepare for eternity?

The five spaceships are called:
- Asgard (Europe)
- Atlantis (North America)
- Shambhalla (Asia)
- Lemuria (South America)
- Eden (Africa)

There will be no cloud computing or ai in the new planet, and the spaceships only have enough fuel for a one way trip. The tribes will travel in stasis while their digital minds live in a simulated world. Once they arrive in the new planet, they will live in an arc while the planet is terraformed. After that, they will start colonizing the planet from scratch.

The journey will take 500 years, but the tribes will still be able to communicate with earth for the first 100 years of the journey. What decisions will they make when they stop receiving communications from a planet that is already gone?

And what will happen when they arrive in the new planet and discover a shocking secret: **we are not alone in this universe**.
