I had a dreadful conversation with one of my co-workers

So on my way out of work, one of my co-workers was talking about the horrific shooting that happened in Texas this past week. Her words were <br><br>\>"I don't understand why you would kill a little girl, but also she probably shouldn't have been at school with a gun.\><br><br>Essentially, a little 7 year old girl was shot and killed because she had her backpack inside her desk and a gun fell out. She was shot by the shooter. <br><br>Now I don't know if this co-worker is just plain ignorant, or just plain dumb, but this was honestly the most tone deaf thing I have ever heard in a horrific shooting. A little girl, 7 is dead, and she notices that she shouldn't have a gun? In the first place. A little girl should be at school to learn and not carry an weapon. That is horrific.
