My friends dad almost killed us

One time my friend and I decided to go on a camping trip in some woods next to his house. We had been planning the trip for months and were both excited as it would be a first for both of us. So we got to the camp area, set up the tent, and started to make food. Everything was great, we were just having fun in general and joking around, good times. That's when we heard rustling in the nearby bushes. I kind of got a bad feeling for a second, but I brushed it off thinking it was probably a stray animal or something. Then we heard the rustling again, but this time it sounded closer. I turned around and saw a very drunk guy stumbling around the camp. I got a bad feeling again, but my friend said it was okay and we can handle it. That's when the drunk guy stumbled over to us and started saying things that I couldn't really make out. My friend and I were both very uncomfortable at this point, but then the guy started saying things like "I'm gonna break your necks" and "I'm gonna bash your skulls in." That's when we knew things weren't good. So I grabbed my knife and my friend grabbed his hatchet, and we told the guy to fuck off. He got pissed and charged at me, but I was ready and I stabbed him in the stomach. He fell to the ground in pain, and we grabbed our stuff and got the hell out of there. We were both shaken up pretty bad, and the dude could have probably killed us had I not been ready for his charge. So, to the dude that tried to kill me and my friend, lets not meet again.
