AITA for kicking my boyfriend (26M) out after I (26F) caught him and his friends using my stuff without permission?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 years now, and he had recently moved to a new apartment and needed some help getting settled. I offered to let him stay with me for a few weeks until he could get everything sorted out, and he happily agreed.

On the second night that he was staying with me, I noticed that he had used my hair dryer to dry his hair after taking a shower. When I saw this, I thought it was a bit strange, as he had never done this before when he was visiting me, but I also didn't think much of it, assuming he had just forgotten to pack his own.

However, when I checked my bathroom the next morning, I discovered that not only had he used my hair dryer again, but he had also used my toothbrush, deodorant, nail clippers, and shampoo. This was very frustrating for me, as I had specifically told him not to use any of my personal items without asking first. I felt like he had violated my boundaries and disrespected my space.

I confronted him about his actions, and he apologized profusely, saying that he had been in a rush and didn't want to unpack his stuff. I told him that he needed to respect my things and not use them without my permission.

The next night, I woke up in the middle of the night to find my boyfriend and a couple of his friends using my hair dryer and other bathroom items. I was furious and felt betrayed, as I had specifically told him not to use my things without asking. I demanded that he and his friends leave my apartment immediately and not come back.

He tried to explain that they were just trying to help each other out and get ready for the night, but I was too angry to listen. I felt like he had disrespected me and my space, and I didn't want him around me anymore.

AITA for kicking him out?

Edit: I've read a few comments saying that I've never been in a relationship before. This is actually my 3rd relationship, and my longest one so far.

He's never raided my bathroom before, and I never made it okay for him to do it. He knows it's not okay to use someone else's toothbrush, hair dryer, etc.

I'm also not petty, I don't mind lending someone my stuff if they need it, I just want to be asked first.
