In Edinburgh, Scotland, and it's quiet so far

This is the first autumn I've lived in Edinburgh. For the previous 10 years, I was in east Lothian. It's 16 miles east of Edinburgh, and
In the 10 years since first seeing them, the westies were a nightmare.

But in the 6 weeks I've lived in Edinburgh, I've literally only seen two so far.

Yes I can't help but feel like I'm tempting fate with this post.

Don't get me wrong, it's a very, very different house. I now live in a foreman, which is a very tall, and kind of thin, house, built with narrow windows, and it's only two bedroomed.

Can this be the reason, or is it the fact I now live in Edinburgh, and they're kind of few and far between here.

It's the complete opposite to where I lived before. At my old place, it was a small semi, with large windows, and a two bedroomed, basement house.

And autumn 2019 started the nightmare of forever.

I hope the nightmare is over.
