CMV: Wow, what a fucking joke the USA is.

I'm from the UK. We're a normal country, with a normal system of government. Our politicians are OK, but sometimes they fuck up. And sometimes they fuck up really badly. And when that happens, there's an official process to do something about it. If we lose faith in the system, or if the system itself isn't working, there are processes you can go through to take drastic action. We're a democracy, so the power is really and truly with the people.<br><br>But that's not how it is in the US. I don't know what the fuck is stopping people in the US from taking drastic action. There's a bunch of facts that I am about to list, that you probably know, but if you don't, then maybe this will wake you up:<br><br>The USA is the only country in the world in which you can actually own a gun. In the rest of the world, you have to carry a fucking permit just to touch one of those things. And the president is allowing people to carry fucking assault rifles around, and people are like "oh no, this is not what the founding fathers intended" and "it's a right to bear arms" and "it's a right to defend myself" you're all fucking bullshit artists and the president is a bullshit artist and you are all bullshitting each other and yourselves. And how many people *has this killed*, huh? How many people die every day because they don't have access to healthcare? How many people have been killed because of poverty? How many people are fucking homeless and on the streets because your cheap president is unwilling to raise taxes (which are below the global average) to help people in need. This is fucking pathetic, and you all know it is. And you know what you should do, you should fucking change it. But you don't. And I don't know why.
