It was a Sunday afternoon and I was 11 years old. My brother was 7 at the time. We were both home alone. My mother was at church and my brother and I were playing video games in the living room. I remembered I had ordered pizza from one of our local places earlier in the afternoon.

After 30 minutes, I remembered I ordered the pizza. I get up from the couch and walk to the front door. I look through the peephole and saw a man in a red shirt. I thought nothing of it, as the pizza place I ordered from had red shirts. I get to the door and crack it open, leaving the screen door closed. I look and notice it's not the pizza guy, it's some tall man, balling up his shirtsleeves. I quickly open the door and say, "Wrong House!" The man says, "I'm here to pick up Amy!" I tell him I'm not Amy and he says "Well can Amy come out and play?" Shaking my head no, I close the screen door, leaving the front door wide open.

I walk away from the front door and towards my brother. I tell him what just happened and he asks who it was. I say I don't know, because I don't. I tell him to go check and he gets up and walks to the front door. I'm in the kitchen, and I'm looking at him through the glass part of the door. I notice he's looking at my brother now. I see my brother walk away from the front door and towards me. He tells me that the man asked if his sister, Amy, could come out and play. I'm furious at this point. I walk up to the door and yell "I SAID NO!" The man continues to ask for Amy. He had the audacity to ask my 7 year old brother if he wanted to come out and play.

I decided to grab the cordless phone in the kitchen and dial 911. I walk back to the front door, holding the phone. I tell the guy at the door, 911 is on the phone. He didn't care, he continued to harass us. He walked around the house, looking through our windows. I went back to the kitchen and told 911 our address and what was happening. I told my brother to go get the baseball bat and told him to hide behind the couch. I walked back to the front door and watched as the guy walked up to the door. I held the phone and told the cops my location and what the guy looked like. The guy started to open the front door, I held my ground and didn't budge. I noticed the cops pulling up and the guy ran down the street.

I hung up the phone and called my mom. She's in shock by what I'm telling her. She left church and rushed home. The cops were still at my house and my brother and I were hiding behind the couch. I heard the front door open and close and my mom yelling my name. I got up and ran to my mom, gave her a hug, and started crying. The cop asked us to come down to the station and describe the man to a sketch artist.

We did as they asked and they put out an APB. They never found the guy, but it still creeps me out to this day.
