“Deepfakes” aren’t the problem. It’s our unwillingness to believe the OBVIOUS pattern of Trumps lies that will ruin this country.

Instead of letting something obviously and laughably faked bring this country to war, maybe we SHOULD listen to the numerous audio recordings of Trump bragging about sexual assault. Maybe we should listen to the audio recording of him bragging about bribery. Maybe we should believe the 15 women who say he sexually assaulted them. Maybe we shouldn’t forget that he’s still on trial for the raping a child, or that he’s still in an active court case for laundering money from charity donations for children with cancer and spending it on his campaign. Instead of letting obviously faked audio recordings of world leaders bring us to war, maybe we should listen to the thousands of audio recordings of Trump lying to the American people about literally everything. Maybe we should be more careful about what we accept as real. Maybe we should prioritize the safety of the US instead ofwords reflecting off the wall of Trumps echo chamber.
