All this anti-woman sentiment on MGTOW

TL/DR at the bottom.<br><br>I have been lurking MGTOW for about a year now and I have to be honest, I don’t like the sentiment that’s on my news feed. I’m not gonna say this feels like the anti-woman sentiment of other parts of the manosphere, but I definitely feel something is up. So I just went into my r/MGTOW and started to scroll through the last 100 posts. What did I find out?<br><br>Over 30% of the posts that were on my feed were anti-woman. Over a third of the posts were anti-woman, with a lot of them using derogatory words like the t word, the b word, the s word, etc. The amount of posts I saw using this kind of language was very disheartening.<br><br>Then I saw the comments. Over 50% of the comments in these posts used the same language. It wasn’t just words, though. Over 50% of the comments used dehumanizing language towards women. You know, the usual: “Women are stupid” / “Women are dumb” / “Women are useless” / “Women are children” / “Women are dogs” / “Women are animals” / “Women are incapable of thinking for themselves” / “Women are incapable of this and they are incapable of that”, etc. Over 50% of the comments used dehumanizing language by comparing women to less than people.<br><br>Just to see what the numbers would look like, I decided to scroll through the top 100 posts of all time. I was happy to see that the amount of anti-woman sentiment was much, much lower. It was less than 1%, to be exact. I still saw some anti-woman sentiment in the comments, but yet again, it was much lower than my feed. It was less than 5% this time. <br><br>The differences between all-time and my feed couldn’t have been any more apparent. My feed was littered with angry men that were talking shit about women. The all-time was littered with self-improvement and stories of how these men improved their own lives. It was a completely different experience.<br><br>So I’m not sure where I’m going with this. I know Chambers doesn’t always speak for its users so this may not speak to the whole of MGTOW. Some of you may just lurk without an account to upvote and comment. That’s perfectly fine. But if you’re one of the people who goes on these angry tirades against women: I don’t know, maybe get some help. The amount of anger I see in some of these posts and the amount of resentment built up in some of these men just isn’t healthy. It’s not healthy for you and it’s not healthy for the people around you. I just feels like a really bad vibe overall. So just by itself, the fact that so much of these anti-woman sentiment just makes MGTOW feel like a very negative community overall.<br><br>I just wish there was some way to stop this anti-woman sentiment but I don’t see that happening. Over a third of my feed and less than 1% of all time. It’s just a completely different vibe altogether. I wish I knew what to do but I don’t see this ending anytime soon. This is MGTOW and this is what we get.<br><br>**TL;DR:** Over a third of my feed is anti-woman while less than 1% of all-time is. It feels like a big portion of MGTOW is just angry, negative, anti-woman resentment.
