This "quarantine" is a joke.

I live in Northern Italy, a region which is basically going through a full blown epidemic of the Covid-19 by now (we are on par with South Korea and almost surpassing China itself at this point). Quarantine is basically "stay inside unless you absolutely need to come out". The government says you can go outside to these places:<br><br>-Supermarkets (open from 6 am to 10 pm)<br><br>-Pharmacies<br><br>-Bars and restaurants (last managed to stay<br> open until 18th of February, now the government says they have to be closed, but i can see people inside from the window)<br><br>-Everything else is closed. It's a full blown quarantine by now.<br><br>Guess what? Every single place mentioned above teems with people. Everyone is out going about their day as usual even though<br> there is an official quarantine.<br><br>I am the only asshole who is thankful for staying inside alone in my home. My family, friends, neighbors all think I have gone insane or something because I'm at home<br>2 hours by car from the nearest epicenter (Milan, which is currently stuffed with infected). My roommate invited 5 people at home just 3 days ago to discuss some bullshit about what to do if the situation "gets worse", as if it wasn't already the case. It's infuriating.<br><br>I just want to scream at all of these idiots who are putting their lives at risk. Why are they so fucking stupid? I seriously do not get it. What is wrong with these people? Yes, the government is putting on a show, but the situation is so stuffed it's teetering on the edge of collapse at this point. Quarantine is basically<br> useless.
