I don’t think I can do this anymore.

I’ve been a teacher for 10 years. I love the kids and every class is different, I live it every time I get a new group of kids. However, the kids are getting harder and harder to manage. Parents don’t parent, admin won’t support you, there is an overall lack of respect. <br><br>I don’t want to get sent to the hospital during recess duty because a kid couldn’t handle a verbal consequence and attacked me. I don’t want to be sued because a parent disagrees with a grade I gave their kid. I don’t want to be beheaded by a machete because a kid decided to bring it to school. <br><br>The worst part is that I’m not passionate about anything else. I don’t have a passion for kids, I just love my specific kids and love teaching. So I don’t know what to do.
