What's the line between being proud of your religion and culture and being a fascist?

Recently I have been really trying to learn more about Hinduism but I keep seeing all these posts talking about how we must be proud of being Hindu and that we should be like our ancestors and fight for it.<br><br>I just want to be able to practice it and learn about it's history and philosophy but I don't know that I want to fight for it or that I want to convince others that Hinduism is better than whatever they practice. I don't really believe in trying to convert people to religion, I think everyone should practice what they want to practice.<br><br>I want to be able to learn more about Hinduism but I don't want to be a fascist, what's the line between believing in your religion and culture and being a fascist who will force others to practice it.?
