I'm probably gonna be called a zoomer but fuck it

I just wanna say I'm probably gonna be called a zoomer for this take but I really don't care, what I wanna know is why do some people in this sub keep saying that they've waited for "the collapse" for 10 years? What are they talking about? I'm not even out of my teenage years yet and the world is already collasping, I feel like this sub is being overrun with spergs and zoomers who aren't even on the same side as us.
