Why are men so obsessed with being cheated on?

A question I have is why so many men have this fear of being cheated on. Is it because of past experiences, the fact men can’t carry a child or the fact that women are much more empathetic than men? I’m not saying every man is like this but I have a question mark on my head about this topic.
