AITA for not paying for my brother’s wedding after he didn’t invited my wife to attend?

I (40M) have a brother (32M). We aren’t close, but I still love him and his fiancée (30F). Their wedding was at the end of December and he didn’t invited my wife. We aren’t always on the same page when it comes to our families, but we’ve talked through it and agreed that it was messed up.

I’ve always given my brother more than my fair share whenever he needed help, because we were taught to take care of each other, but the lack of invitation for my wife was a step too far.

I told my brother that I wasn’t going to pay for his wedding and he needed to have a civil conversation with my wife about why he didn’t want her there. I feel like he needs to understand that we’re a package deal.

My brother is furious and claims that I’m being abusive by forcing him to talk to my wife when he doesn’t want to. He says that he can’t control how he feels about her and that we’re intentionally trying to sabotage his wedding.

My parents are stuck in the middle and have been pressuring me to pay for the wedding regardless. They think that I should let my brother make his own decisions about his wedding and that my wife should be more understanding about his perspective.

AITA?
