I'm not telling my kids to never hit girls

My son is 4 and my daughter is 2. I will always tell them that it's not okay to hit anybody, but I will never say "never hit girls." It implies that half the population is off limits when it comes to physical confrontation. It's a double standard and perpetuates the narrative that men are inherently more violent than women.
