Does licking a computer chip ruin it?

Basically what the title says. If you lick a standard microchip, does it ruin it. I ask because i was eating a Dorito, and i got Dorito dust on one of my computer chips (xbox controller board), so i licked my finger and wiped it off. <br><br>Is this gonna ruin the chip?
