I was unable to find a thread similar to this (I will make sure to be more specific next time) so here I am. Does anyone know of any other subs similar to this one that I can post this?

This is a bit of background information.

I am an undergraduate student at a university. I am working on a senior project with one of my classes.

My senior project is to create a video game. I am solo on this project and need help with the story and plot. This wasn't something that I thought about until recently.

I understand that this is a world building sub. I am looking for world building for my game.

Here is the game concept.

Minecraft meets Rimworld. You are a colony in a procedural world (similar to Rimworld or Terraria) except instead of being in a futuristic setting, it is in the medieval times/fantasy setting with magic. After a long winter (similar to game of thrones) the weather is warming up and the snow is melting. There are goblins, bandits, wolves, bears, wild boars, etc. There is magic and technology.

The magic system is based on "Mistborn" by Brandon Sanderson in which magic is derived from metals. Or in this case, gems/minerals. For example, rubies give you strength.

I am looking for world information that I can "steal" from you.

Here is what I am looking for.

1. A creation story.
2. The magic system. If you have a magic system that is unique and I hadn't heard of it, I would love to hear it.
3. Pre-colonial history.
4. Important country/characters.

I am looking for anything that you have already created for your world that I can implement into my game.

I will most likely be creating my own lore once I have graduated college but until then, I would greatly appreciate it if I can use your world lore in my game.
