I've never felt more proud to be an MGTOW

This evening my wife handed me a bag of Post-it notes that she had previously used to bookmark certain passages from our anniversary present that she wanted me to read (some shitty romance novel).

"I want us to read this together, and then I want us to talk."

And so I sat down and read it. It was terrible, but I was more interested in the Post-it notes she used to bookmark the passages.

The first one was a pink tab, and it was placed inside the front cover. When I opened the book, I saw that she had written in black letters, "You are the love of my life."

The second one was placed about 40 pages in. "You are my forever love."

As I kept reading, I encountered almost 10 different messages. "You give me butterflies," "You are a rockstar," "I want to be yours forever," "I love you more than ice cream." Each message was written on a pink Post-it, and carefully placed in between the pages.

This is what it means to be an MGTOW.

Over the weekend I was at a race track with a bunch of other guys, each with their own car. There was a bunch of us, maybe 15, all Southern men who grew up working in the oil fields of the Gulf. We all know each other from various projects we worked on together, or from racing events we've been to. There are some who have been to every track day, and therefore they know each other very well.

One of our crew is a man I've never seen before. He's a bit of a loner, never says much, and he's not particularly social. His car is a bit beat up, and he doesn't have any fancy equipment. But he's a great driver, and everyone thinks he's a good guy. He's just a little different.

On the second day of our race, it was early morning and most of us were still in bed. This lone wolf was on the track, doing some laps to get some practice in. It was a bit foggy, but the weather conditions were perfect for a fast run. Our group chat lit up with messages from people watching from the sidelines. It wasn't long before we were all out there, spectating and cheering him on. He was absolutely crushing it, and we were all impressed.

He came in for a pit stop, and that's when it happened. He had previously told us about some issues he was having with his car, and we were all giving him advice on how to fix it. So when he came in, one of the other guys in our group asked him a question about it. He nodded, confirming that he had fixed the issue, and that he was running well. One of the new guys in our group then asked if he could take a look at the engine. And that's when it happened.

The lone wolf quickly became upset, and he told the new guy to get away from his car. There was a commotion, and the new guy was shouting back at him, saying he didn't want to touch his car.

"What's going on here?"

That was the voice of the leader of our group, a tall, imposing man with a strong Southern drawl. The lone wolf explained what had just happened, and the leader's expression turned dark.

"Apologize to him now."

"I didn't do anything!"

"Apologize to him now."

The new guy hesitated for a moment, then mumbled out an apology. "I didn't mean to touch your car."

"That's not good enough," the leader said. "Apologize to him now, like you mean it."

Finally, the new guy apologized. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to touch your car, and it was my fault for not listening to you."

The lone wolf nodded, and then he stood up. "Thank you," he said. "I appreciate it."

And that's when the leader turned to the new guy. "Listen here, this is how it works. We're a team. We work together, and we look out for each other. If you need help, just say so. We'll be there for you."

"But I just wanted to see it," the new guy argued.

"Well, you didn't listen to him. You didn't respect his decision. And you nearly caused a problem. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

"I don't want to cause a problem," the new guy said.

"Then listen. If you want to see something, just ask. If you want to try something, just ask. Don't just do it without asking. That's how we work here. Do you understand?"

"Yes, I understand."

"Good. Because if you don't, then you're not welcome here. This is a team, and we work together. If you can't do that, then you're not welcome. Do you understand?"

"Yes, I understand."

"Good. Then let's go racing."

And with that, we all piled into our cars and hit the track. It was an incredible day of racing, and everyone had a great time.

This is what it means to be an MGTOW. We look out for each other, and we work together. We're not lone wolves, we're a pack. And when you're part of our pack, you're part of something special.

There's no drama, there's no tension. We're all just a bunch of guys who want to have fun, and enjoy each other's company. We race our cars, we drink our beers, and we laugh together. We're a team, and we're unstoppable.

So if you're feeling lonely, or if you're feeling left out, then join us. We'll welcome you with open arms, and we'll make you part of our pack. You'll never be alone again, and you'll always have someone to rely on.

This is what it means to be an MGTOW.
