Why aren't men held to the same beauty and grooming standards as women? Why do they get to be sloppy/ugly and still be considered "the norm" and acceptable?

Men have it so easy

They get to throw on whatever terrible outfit they want, don't need to get their hair done, or be perfectly made up or anything, they can go outside and look like absolute garbage and be considered normal. But if a woman does that, she is judged and shamed.

EVEN IF A WOMAN IS GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL, IF SHE WEARS NO MAKEUP/SLEEPS IN, HER LOOKS AND BEAUTY ARE INVALIDATED. You have to look at women from a completely superficial perspective, and the standards are never met. (Unless you're " fuckable")

Why is it okay for men to be sloppy, but it is unacceptable for women to be sloppy? Why are men not striving to be better? Does my dad need to wear a ratty t-shirt and jeans outside? AND NO ONE CARES. But if I do that, I will be shamed. Why is that okay? Why can't I be a human being and be lazy without being judged and gossiped and shamed? I feel like I need to be perfect all the time. To fit and thin, long hair, nice clothes, accessories, makeup, nail care, waxed eyebrows and legs and arms and back, nice phone, nice car, etc, etc. But they can just throw on whatever they want and go outside, and no one cares. It makes me sick. I feel like there's a lot of pressure on me to be perfect all the time, and it's exhausting. And when I'm not, I feel incomplete. It makes me feel disgusting AND I'M ALREADY UGLY FOR BEING A WOMAN. Ugh.

I wish I could live my life like men do. Just let go of all of my self-concept, and be normal. But I can never be considered "normal" without looking good. It's a life-long burden. A man is never judged as harshly as a woman, no matter the situation. And that's messed up.
