I sold “custom” keycap sets in high school and sold stolen keycaps I got from online forums

&#x200B;<br><br>I did this right after high school, and I sold up to 100s of sets a month and had sold nearly $20,000 worth. All the caps were actually from a well known secret discord. It didn’t matter how I got it, I made some good ass money and a lot of stuff I got that was rare I never sold and I got to keep it for my collection. <br><br>Edit: I also didn’t know about the keycap black market at the time I had no idea about how deep it went, a friend introduced me to the community and I got really interested and collected them. I never knew there was such a big community and I was up and coming, once I saw how deep it went I backtracked out and stopped buying, selling and collecting. It didn’t feel right and I stopped collecting then and there because I never realized how deep it went. Also, I wanted to be a part of a community but not one that’s black market, I love collecting keycaps but now I just buy them from real stores and collect them for the designs and variety.
