LPT: Sites like Amazon, Walmart, and Expedia are just price comparison apps to you. Don’t be too loyal

One day I was too lazy to do my usual price comparison on 4 different sites and went straight to Walmart to buy some shit. I was sitting and waiting for them to tell me to come and get my shit but all of a sudden I hear a voice from the back yelling at someone at the counter to pause on this order. Then it clicked that whoever owns Walmart is not stupid enough to sell shit at a loss. They just pause the order to get the cheapest price and have you pay for that shit. Same goes for other companies that compare prices like Expedia. They get commission even if they’re booking shit through their own brands so they might book it at a cheaper place to get the profit and you get the lower price. Don’t fall to loyalty and loyalty programs. They want you to think that way.
