Does anyone here think that an AGI will be able to somehow bypass the need for a workforce, or would we just be back to square one doing those jobs (but for the AGI)?

For example, if we were to use an AGI to manage logistics, and manufacture goods, manage agriculture, etc, would there be anyone left to maintain those things? Monitor the systems, upgrade the equipment, replace equipment that we can't upgrade, mining, etc? Do you think these things would just become completely automated or would it not be practical to fully automate that stuff?
