CMV: Snowdrifts in parking lots should be intentionally left up to help with drainage at intersections.

This view is pretty straightforward, but I personally think that quickly plowing/remove snow out of parking lots and driveways causes a lot of water to be dumped onto the streets when the weather becomes warmer. It's a lot of water, and usually more than the sewer at a given intersection can handle, so it becomes iced over (I live in the USA for reference). If the snow is instead allowed to melt more slowly, it would allow for better water management at intersections, especially on the blind turns for drivers. Full disclosure: I don't fully know the water flow dynamics of snow in the environment, but the basics seem to make sense.

This is my first post here, so any feedback is greatly appreciated
