Am I overreacting?

So I work in a district that while isn't the worst paid, it could be better. Especially with the current inflation. We had a principal tell us that we don't need to be worried about the inflation because of remote jobs. I took offense to that as I'm not the only one who can't do remote work. Also, she earns a higher salary than most teachers plus she has a second income.
