You have a smart TV in your home, right? How about an Xbox or a PS5, maybe a Google Home or Alexa? Did you know that these devices can listen in on your conversations even when you're not actively using them? It's a well established fact and companies like Amazon and Google have admitted it in the past.

Companies like LG and Samsung are doing the same thing, and the information is being recorded and uploaded to the cloud. From there, the government can obtain it for any purpose they like. Is this sounding a little bit like China? I can't tell if this is a conspiracy or not but I know that if I end up in prison in the future, my smart TV will be how they convict me.

Edit: Wow, I didn't know until now that smart TVs are capable of listening to your conversations if you have another device connected to it. I knew that if you hooked up an Echo speaker or Alexa then they could listen to you but now I suspect that even if you have a gaming system connected to the TV it can transmit your conversations to Amazon or Google or whoever. I'm going to look into it, and if that's the case, then I will get rid of my TV.

I'm also going to look into getting an older Xbox because if I wasn't going to get rid of the TV, then at least I wouldn't have to worry about being monitored through my gaming system. I do know that with newer consoles, you have to have an Xbox Live or Steam subscription to access online multiplayer. If you don't have these subscriptions then you won't be able to access online multiplayer but you won't be monitored. The monitoring only happens through voice assistants or live subscriptions. Even if your TV or console is turned off, if it's plugged in then it's still listening.

Even your smartphone is monitoring you. If you use Google Maps in your car, you're being monitored. There are different ways to avoid this but in general, anything connected to the internet could potentially be used to monitor you. I don't know if that's a conspiracy or not, but it's the truth.
